Our apartment: Part 1

We arrived at our apartment on a hot, humid night on 7 Aug... After a 20.5h flight followed by a 4h bus ride (which was late for one hour!), all we really wanted was a nice cool shower and some sleep... We knew that our apartment was going to be unfurnished, but we didn't expect it to be so sparse!





There was absolutely nothing in the house... No lights or fans even! And unfortunately for us, the week when we arrived was one of the hottest weeks in Indiana...

The only cooling thing we had in the house was a refrigerator, which incidentally was very empty as well...


Thus, over the next few days, we went to buy lots of stuff to fill up the empty space...

And here is one of our most important purchases: An air con!!! (with SS happily sitting right in front of it...)
