With less than two weeks left in SG, I am struggling between eating as much local delicacies as possible, and trying to maintain a healthy diet as far as possible.
This week's tally:
Fish and Co (twice)
- One can never have too much of the fried calamari and the fish and chips!
Kenny Rogers
- Mmmm... Mac and Cheese...
Delhi Restaurant at Little India
- SL recommended this restaurant, and it was really good! Very tasty garlic naan and butter chicken. We also ordered their sizzler's platter, which consists of a variety of meats on a hot plate, and served by pouring whisky over it and lighted up for a flaming effect. Looked pretty impressive, but when every table in the restaurant ordered this dish, the result was a whole bunch of customers choking for air.
Mummy's dinner
- With my favourite food, like roast duck, chicken liver, and veggies with century egg and salted egg... lucky me!
Sushi Tei
- Sashimi, hot pot, tempura, sushi, and yuzu ice cream... heavenly!
It is pretty apparent that my detox plan has failed miserably. The only relatively healthy thing I ate this week was yong tau hoo.
On a separate note, HP6 was a disappointment. I felt that they focused too much on relationships, and under-developed the plot. I mean, it is called "HP and the Half-Blood Prince"! Not "HP and Ginny get together, and so do Hermione and Ron". Snape didn't even explain why he is the Half-Blood Prince!
I do hope that the final HP movie will be better. If it is not possible to squeeze the whole plot into one movie, maybe they should just break the movie into two parts, or make a 5h long movie or something. After all, the last HP book is twice as thick as the first few books, so it makes sense that it will require more screening time.

Hey, you're pretty visionary. The last book will be made into a 2-part movie!
Yes I totally agree with you--I am quite disappointed that the Death Eaters' process of getting to Dumbledore in the tower was soooo Peaceful!! What happened to all the heroic fighting and sacrifices along the way? Lotsa hormonal-triggered snogging and precious few pieces of real action..

Dawn: Wow... I will be looking forward to the two-part movie then! Hopefully no delays this time round... I realize that the last movie that I watched in SG before HP6 was HP5!
XT: Yeah! I had to re-read the book to re-live all the exciting parts that were missed out. *grrrr*
