Our first car wash!

I was pretty happy with a dusty new car (I am sure the rain will wash away the dust one day), but Shisheng insisted that we at least give it a wash... At first we thought of doing it ourselves. So we went shopping for car-washing equipment... There were so many things to buy! Cloths, sponges, special types of fabric that can suck up water without leaving a water mark on your car... and then the car washing detergents: They have different ones for the metal, the glass and the leather parts of the car... and then the waxes for waxing as well...

In the end, we decided it is easier, cheaper and smarter to just go to a car wash...

So we drove up to this place called "Brushless Automatic", which is a drive-thru car wash that does not use brushes (as evident from the name of the place)




It was quite an interesting experience, given that it was my first time in a car while in a car wash...


And over here we have the happy face of a happy man in a new shiny car:


Apparently, the people around here don't wash their cars very often... maybe only once a year... So we will probably visit the carwash again sometime next summer... if Shisheng can tahan it... :P
