Wanted!

The babies are going to get a new home!

Apparently there is a family with daughters who will love to have these two baby piggies! But I really hope they will want Mommy too. Mommy will be heartborken if she has to be separated from her babies.

Mommy has been really great today. She is constantly on the lookout for her babies, making sure they are safe. We took the whole family out of their cage to give them some floor time. The babies stuck to Mommy like glue, while Mommy bravely explores the unknown territory. If the babies get separated from Mommy, they will ALL wheek really loudly so that they can find each other.

Mommy loves that French veggie I bought and carrots, but she is not a big fan of capsicum. The babies tried to take a bite of the carrot today, but I think it may be a bit hard for them still.

We also weighed all the piggies today. Kopi is still as heavy, and Maisy has maintained her weight as well. The babies are 150g and 175g, and Mommy is about 900g.

And I did something horrible today! It was nail-cutting day today for the two resident piggies, so Shisheng held on to them while I took the nail clipper to clip their nails. It was the first time I did Maisy's nails. She is so furry I can't really see where her nails are. In the end, I accidentally cut too much and she bled! :( I felt so bad... yeah, I gave her a carrot and apologised. I hope she will be okay. We left one paw uncut because I was too horrified to continue... :(
