Crossing the rainbow bridge

We have been receiving updates from Dr Wolf this entire week on Maisy's progress. On Saturday, we were told that she was starting to eat and groom herself, and there is almost no bleeding from her bladder, and we could bring her home on Sunday.

So it was quite a shock to us when Dr Wolf called on Sunday to tell us that Maisy had passed away that morning.

We drove over to take a last look at Maisy and to say goodbye to her.

We don't really know for sure why she died so suddenly. Jean says that sometimes these things happen: they seem to get better and then they just crash.

We'll miss you Maisy!

Sorry to hear about Maisy. She looks really pretty with different coloured eye patches. Hope she didn't suffer too much.

Yeah, she is a really pretty one, which was why she was used by pet shops for breeding in the past.

Dr Wolf gave her painkillers and took really good care of her, so I think she passed away peacefully.
