Sashimi.... mmmmm....

I am in debt!

So many people have treated me to lunch/dinner/drinks during the past month (and refuse to let me pay!) I can only say that the next time we meet up, I will be the one to pick up the tab. (And no, I don't care if you have to activate your credit card!) So I owe many of you meals okay. Don't fight with me next time...

I am enjoying my weekend. Went to Liang Court to soak in the "Jappy" atmosphere. Lots of restaurants there that I will love to try in the near future, including one called Saizeriya, which is an Italian restaurant but is priced like a food court. Another called Tampopo looks interesting too. And there is a Vietnamese Coffee place with a wonderful aroma when we walked past it. (Although we ended up in McCafe for coffee coz Dad liked their Mocha.)

While in Kinokuniya, I am reminded again of how much I miss Japanese stationery, and Ponyo (from Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea). I wish there is more Ghibli Studio merchandise in SG. I will love to see what a Ponyo soft toy looks like.

Shopping at Meidi-ya was fun. We bought the ingredients to make sushi, as well as swordfish and salmon belly sashimi. I am trying to eat my fill of fish/sashimi here, coz I will be stuck with the frozen ones when I get back! Sighz...

And boy was the sashimi good!
