Flicker flicker...

Peiru and Shih-Ping joined us for dinner at our house today. Peiru brought Paneer Tikka Masala (MmmMmmmm!), and Shih-Ping brought fish (Oh how I miss fish!) and red bean dessert! I made curry chicken (not so nice with low fat coconut milk, I realised), and nappa in cream sauce.

After dinner, we played with the piggies, chatted until it was about time to go home. They packed up and left.

Minutes later, there was a knock at the door. "Maybe the girls forgot something," I thought.

It was indeed them. But they did not forget anything. "I just wanted to tell you that you have fireflies outside your apartment," Peiru said.

Fireflies!!! I have never seen fireflies before (sua-ku right...) And here they are, right outside my door! So Shisheng and I stepped outside the house, and walked around the building. The small flickering lights made the place look almost magical. I wish I can bring one home and put it in a glass lamp to light up the house... heehee...
