We fostered her together with a mummy pig last year. In December, the mummy pig gave birth to twin boys, and all four piggies stayed together with us till January when we had to return to SG.
So we returned them to our vet. Everyone had their attention on the babies coz they were so cute and all. Then someone picked up this piggy and said"I think this one may be pregnant too!"
That was quite a surprise to us. This piggy has been with us for two months, and we didn't notice that she was getting bigger. She was a little grouchy at times, and in fact bit the other mummy on the ear once. I gave her a scolding, and thought about separating her from the rest for a while. In retrospect, maybe it was the hormones that made her grouchy. Now I feel bad about scolding a mummy pig.
To cut the long story short, we just found out that she gave birth to a baby boy soon after, and that they are ready for adoption.
